Burdock (Arctium Lappa) is a biennial herbaceous plant. It reaches 60-180 cm in height, has a low-branching rod root system. The root is fleshy, up to 60 cm long. The stem is ribbed, erect, in the upper part highly branched and slightly ferruginous. Burdock flowers are purple-violet, tubular, bisexual, in spherical baskets. Fruits are in the form of brown achenes with a flying of short bristles. Burdock blooms in July - August, the fruits ripen in August - September.*

Strength: Dry plant material / solvents ratio 1:3 w/v.

Indications: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place.

The best way to use liquid herbal glycerites is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
