Wild Crafted
Wild blueberry (bilberry, V. myrtillus) is very different from the cultivated blueberries (V. angustifolium, V. corymbosum). In our blueberry juice, we use only handpicked, wild-crafted berries from pristine and fruitful organic forests in Estonia, Finland and/or Sweden.
Bilberries growing in Nordic countries are rich in nutrients compared to the cultivated varieties. Northern conditions are characterized by long days with much light and low temperatures during the growing season. Due to this, berries produce more polyphenols (antioxidants, which gives the wild blueberry its characteristic colour).
Wild blueberries contain several times more flavonoids and 4 times as much anthocyaninthan cultivated blueberries.
Full Of Nutrients
The organic blueberries juice has no added sugar and is cold-pressed directly from fresh organic wild bilberries and lightly pasteurized, to provide the good nutrients for you. We use flash pasteurization method – the juice is heated and not boiled. Compared to other pasteurization processes, it is gentle and the juice maintains its colour and flavour. Antioxidants have also been preserved.
The organic wild blue berry juice is full of vitamins. There is no water or sugar added. Just 100% pure juice, and nothing else!
Before opening, you can keep the bottle at room temperature. After opening refrigerate the juice and consume it within 21 days.
How to Use
Organic fruit juice is an easy way to include wild blueberries to your diet.
100% blueberry juice is very strong like juice concentrate and you may prefer to dilute it and add some sweetener, like honey or stevia. But you can enjoy our wild blueberry juice to the fullest by sipping it undiluted.
Good for adding to refreshing cocktails or smoothies. Delicious with sparkling mineral water, kombucha or some fruit juice – blueberry pairs well with apple, orange, peach, and mango. Tastes also good as a hot blueberry tea.
You can also use it to make popsicles, gummy candies, ice cream or panna cotta; it gives a beautiful colour to chia-pudding, smoothies, pancakes, porridge; makes a tasteful sauce for meat dishes.
