The flat ceramic filter for the Maunawai PiPrime systems
With the new, flat form, both the water pressure and the ceramic surface are better utilized and thus the filter quality is increased.
A new burning technique made it possible to increase the number of pores and their diameters reduced. This improves the filter quality, while slowing down the flow rate somewhat.
With only 0.18 µm (0.00018 mm) in the filter matrix of the ceramic filter, the tap water runs "drop by drop" through the 7 filter stages of the PIPRIME® QUELLE filter.
For the excellent filter result, the 6 other filter segments also require a certain throughput time, all based on the natural gravity principle.
A good filling level in the upper filling container is decisive for the throughput time. If you keep an eye on the upper filling level "slightly", there is always enough water in the lower withdrawal container.
- The MAUNWAI ceramic filter is NSF certified.
- The ceramic filter is suitable for both water systems.
- Effective protection against bacteria, dust, rust, paint, oils and suspended particles.
- Pore size 0.18 µm. Reliably protects against microplastics.
Change interval:
1 x per year, with very hard and / or dirty water even after 6 months.
Cleaning: You can still rub the ceramics well.
Use our cleaning set (copper cloth + eco-cleaner), or a clean sponge and a little vinegar water.
(about 250 ml water + 1 tablespoon vinegar essence)
Preparation: Soaken the ceramic filter in tap water. Cover it completely with water. The filter screw should point upwards, only then can the air from the inside escape. It is best to leave the filter in the water overnight.
