The lime pad binds calcium ions and releases potassium ions. One pack contains 6 limescale filter pads. Limescale filter pads are also included in the replacement packages that we offer, but the pads supplied are not sufficient for particularly hard water containing lime. That's why we're offering a cost-effective pack of 6 pads.
Change interval:
You can determine the period yourself, because it depends on your local water quality. With hard water, there are changes between 4-8 weeks. The replacement is announced by the pads becoming white and harder.
Preparation:
Soak a limescale filter pad in water overnight, then place directly on the filter cartridge of the kini or spring.
