The LOOV Food story began at Christmastime in Tallin, Estonia…
The year was 2008. In a small home kitchen, two friends were busy brewing up a non-alcoholic, organic, wild blueberry and blackcurrant mulled wine. When it was ready, they took their new “elixir of love” to the annual Christmas Market in Tallinn’s Town Hall Square — where it was a smash hit!
This spicy tincture of ancient forest magic worked like a Christmas fairytale, tickling people’s senses. And that’s when LOOV was born.
They still offer this cherished mulled wine every year at their romantic cottage at the Tallinn Christmas Market, which was voted the most beautiful Christmas market in Europe. It’s definitely worth a visit!

The two friends who created that intoxicating elixir? Kristjan and Ahto: childhood schoolmates with a shared love of their homeland of Estonia and its wild and gorgeous natural landscape.
