Grow fresh wheat grass yourself

Planting and harvesting yourself is fun and is the best for a balanced diet. Sprouts, herbs and grasses cannot be processed and prepared more fresh. Either sow directly in the garden or use our germination devices for support: can be found here in the shop under the category "Pull sprouts".

These organic seed seeds obtain their high organic quality through the gentle cultivation processes that allow the plants to grow naturally. The organic seed is obtained in organic farming. They are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. After harvest, there is no treatment with preservatives, dyes and other artificial additives. The wheatgrass resulting from this seed has very nutritious properties. After 2-3 days, these can be consumed as fresh sprouts, e.g. as a topping on salads, etc. On the other hand, it can be used to breed young grain grass, which in approx. 14 days ready for harvest and can be squeezed into a tasteful, dark green juice. But be careful: Not every juicer is suitable for pressing grain grass. Please contact us, we will be happy to advise you in this regard.

Sowing:

The germ seed for approx. Soak in water for 8-10 hours, then rinse and sow evenly, e.g. in a germinator. Until complete germination, after approx. 2-3 days, water the seeds 2-3 times a day. Transplant into soil for strong wheat grass and water daily until the wheat grass has reached a height of about 20 cm.
