Chemical-free limescale protection
The Maunawai® lime protection uses ceramic granules with a specially coded surface to initiate the process of heterogeneous catalysis.
A similar process can be observed in nature with mussels and corals. The tap water flows around the granules. On the granulate surface, small so-called "vaccination crystals" of a few form automatically and within seconds.

These immediately peel off again to make room for more crystals. The vaccination crystals floating in the water are carried into all lines and connected devices.
They catch the lime and it no longer sticks anywhere in the treated water.
The water is not changed in its chemical composition.
Chemical-free lime protection is a recognized biotechnology.
Since 2009, the EU standard EN 1988-20 has been No. 12.7 (Technical rules of drinking water installations) stipulated that limescale protection devices with vaccination crystallization
are approved for drinking water installations and correspond to the state of the art. Methods that work on the basis of vaccination crystallization meet the requirements of the "General Rules of Technology".
Water capacity: 8-10 l/min.
Connection: 3/8'' Will be connected directly to your cold water pipe. No additional fitting is needed.
You need for assembly:
- additional flex connection hose 3/8'' IG x 3/8'' AG in necessary length
- Teflon tape (threaded sealing tape)
