For the new generation of our PIPRIME filter cartridges, we looked for completely new ways. Our idea was: Made in Europe, with increased performance and the highest possible quality. It quickly became clear that we had to produce the cartridges ourselves in Europe.
My brother in Hungary provided us with the ideal conditions for a new production site. There was a production site, many motivated employees, technical expertise and great commitment.
We have had new machines developed, e.g. f o r filling the layers and welding the cartridges. The absolutely pure plastic is now produced under our eyes. The lime filter pads can now also be produced there. The contents of the cartridges continue to be put together directly in Werder. These mixtures then go directly to Hungary and - more environmentally friendly - the finished cartridges come back in the same car.
The advantages of this in-house production for you and us are obvious: We are decoupled from the increasing supply chain difficulties from Asia, shorten transport routes and can optimize the performance and quality of MAUNAWAI® Pi water even more effectively.
The new production facilities are ISOcertified and the materials and raw materials used are carefully tested in accordance with food regulations and checked with every new batch. You will receive a new hanger free of charge so that your new cartridges fit properly.
Maunawai® PI®PRIME K2G source table filter - sip by sip of pure joy
Fresh, original spring water has many beneficial properties that our current tap water lacks. As part of a health-conscious lifestyle, Medical Medium Anthony William recommends gravity-fed water filters to purify and revitalize the ordinary drinking water . However, we do not follow Anthony William's device recommendation here and have selected the best gravity filter system, suitable for European water conditions: Maunawai® PI®PRIME source table filters have been produced near Berlin for many years and have impressed us with their ease of use and excellent results and taste convinced. The filter cartridges for the Maunawai systems are also produced in Europe and are manufactured according to precise specifications and material selection in a Maunawai partner factory in Hungary. You can taste the many years of experience and the perfect implementation in practice with every sip of Maunawai water.
Filters, mineralizes and restructures normal tap water
The Maunawai® source filters according to the five principles of filtration, information, optimization, harmonization and biological availability. It frees ordinary water from chlorine, heavy metals, uranium, pesticides, nitrates, hormones and drug residues in just a few minutes. In addition, minerals from valuable ceramics and zeolite rock are released into the water with the K2 system compared to the K8. With this, even people with low-mineral tap water or a decalcification system in the house can enjoy water with naturally dissolved minerals. Together with the original cluster structure, which the Maunawai water regains during the filter passage, this water can be optimally absorbed by the human organism - a crystal-clear pleasure for body and senses.
Sophisticated multi-stage filter system
The heart of the Maunawai® source filter is the multi-stage filter system: First, a ceramic filter retains impurities, particles and suspended matter. An activated carbon filter then pulls out coconut shells, chlorine, pesticides and many other impurities. Maunawai® filters are therefore very effective, especially in the border area of difficult-to-bind substances. At the end of the filter and seepage process, there is very wholesome water, like from a mountain spring. You determine the extent to which your water is enriched with minerals by adding the supplied zeolite rock, which is placed in the glass drinking water container.
The filter tank of the Maunawai® source filter holds up to 4 liters, the drinking water container made of mouth-blown glass can hold up to 8 liters. The plastic parts are made of plasticizer and BPA-free SAN plastic, which is also used in medical technology. This makes Maunawai® source the perfect source of vitality in the kitchen and office or for guests and customers.
Suitable for your water quality
The filters of the Maunawai® spring are matched to the hardness of the tap water that prevails in our country. The K8 version is designed for medium-hard, hard and very hard (from 8°dH). The K2 shown here is designed for soft to medium-hard water (up to 7.5°dH), or simply for people who love mineral-rich water. The K2 can also be used when using a decalcification system that works via ion exchange. With each cartridge change, you can always choose a new variant. If you move to an area with a different degree of hardness, you can easily adapt your source. You can also find suitable year-round replacement packages for replacing the filter in our shop.
Activated natural zeolite stones for more minerals and taste
Can it be a little more minerals? The supplied zeolite stones have a slightly basic effect on your drinking water and can simply be placed in the water collection tank. A fine release of minerals enriches your existing, mineral-poor water and thus enhances it. This mineral release is initially significantly higher than at the end of the useful life. Therefore, it makes sense to use only 2-4 stones at the beginning. Gradually you can add the stones to get the flavor you want. A bag of zeolite rock is therefore included with every K2 source and also included in the K2 refresh package, with which you can completely renew your source after a year of use. The selected zeolite stones have a clinoptilolite content of over 90%.

Customer Question:
I wanted to ask you. My maunawai K2 water filter has just arrived. After assembling and filling the water, I was surprised by how slow the water is filtering. It really only drips in drops. Is this normal?
Manufacturer's Answer:
The customer must be aware that he has a filter that works very finely. Good filtering takes time, there is nothing you can do about that. The filter needs 1-4 hours per liter of water, depending on the water quality. However, the customer may not have soaked the upper ceramic properly yet, which could explain the longer time. If there is still air in the ceramic, this can affect the water flow. Alternatively, you can also recommend the dome ceramic filter to the customer, where the water flows faster, but the filtration is not as fine.
