The creamy consistency of the coconut milk from Dr. Goerg and the mild aroma harmonize perfectly for a wide variety of recipe ideas: as a basis for vegan Thai curry, as an exotic touch for vegetable soups or as a refined ingredient for smoothies.

Thanks to the optimized packaging, the coconut milk can be completely poured out and allows easy pouring without spilling. The screw cap is made of the renewable raw material sugar cane. These bio-based closures cause 30% less CO2 than a closure made of fossil polymers.

Unopened, the coconut milk has a shelf life of at least 12 months. Shake the coconut milk vigorously before consumption. After opening, keep cool and stand and use as best as possible within three days.

Things to know about the coconut

Coconut trees have been grown for more than 3000 years. The coconut palm belongs to the Palmenge family. The word "coconut" originally means "core" or "berry". Coconut trees are not branched and can grow up to 30 meters high. The leaves are between 3 and 7 meters long and about 1 meter wide. They weigh up to 15 kg. The palm tree bears fruit all year round. If its location is ideal, the palm tree can still bear fruit at the age of seventy. The maximum age of the coconut palms is estimated at up to 120 years.

Due to the processing method, coconut milk cannot be produced in raw food quality. To ensure shelf life, coconut milk must be pasteurized.
