Raw food mulberries

Mulberry trees originally come from China and were grown there for the breeding of silkworms. The trees reach heights of up to 15 meters and soon found new cultivation areas, such as Turkey or Greece. The fruits are similar in appearance to blackberries and are just as juicy raw. Red mulberries, for example, are particularly strong in coloring. For this reason, the ancient Greeks used these fruits to dye wine.

A sweet dream: Our mulberries in raw food quality

Mulberries ripen on the tree for several weeks, which is why some of them can already dry naturally in the sun. Once all the berries have matured, our mulberries are dried on clay roofs in the sun and picked by hand. In this way, their raw food quality and a gentle harvest are secured. Our mulberries have a soft consistency and are particularly tasteful with a wonderful caramel touch. They fit perfectly into any muesli, in dry fruit mixtures and are therefore a delicious and healthy snack for in between.
